The tripod has a maximum operating height of 72 inches and a minimum operating height of less than 21 inches with standard center column. At a combined weight of less than 6 pounds its easy to move the tripod from location to location with very little effort. The tripod a quick lever leg lock system using materials that compliment the concept of strength at a lighter weight. As a result, the composite material used to construct the leg locks is an engineer grade glass reinforced nylon resulting in a strong and durable locking system, while adding very little overall weight to the product.
The ball socket head rotates 360 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically allowing unlimited viewing positions, and features a level bubble for precise leveling. Also included is a quick release camera mounting platform that attaches to the base of your camera and allows for quick on and off camera mounting to the tripod. Unique in the market, this collar lock system is designed for one hand operation. To operate, a simple turn of the collar unlocks the head allowing it to be reset in the desired position. Just relock and youre ready to capture images. Its extremely quick and easy since there is no need to fumble with multiple locking knobs.
