The tripod has a maximum operating height of 59.7 inches and a minimum operating height with the standard center column of less than 20 inches. At a combined weight of less than 5 pounds its easy to move the tripod from location to location with very little effort. The tripod has a quick lever leg lock system using materials that compliment the concept of strength at a lighter weight. As a result, the composite material used to construct the leg locks is an engineer grade glass reinforced nylon resulting in a strong and durable locking system, while adding very little overall weight to the product.
The PH-105 is a heavy duty professional 3-way panhead that is constructed of die cast aluminum. The head rotates 360 degrees horizontally, 90 degrees vertically, and tilts 90 degrees forward and 45 degrees back. It features a large quick release camera mounting platform with a quick lever release for quick and easy mounting and dismounting of the camera. It also features fluid movement, which allows the photographer to have precise control. Also included is rubberized handles with foam sleeves and three level bubbles which allow for precise leveling on tilt, horizontal, and vertical axis.
